Peterite Van Letters! YUCK!!!

Guys I wrote this earlier but it got accidentally deleted – so i wrote it again – hopefully I wont have any more loser comments with people scolding me for no reason!
I got a letter through the van window today. We were passing St.Peters and this guy just threw the letter in! I was so pissed! I mean as if! I hate Peterites anyway. You guys should learn something from Thomians and Trinitians! They would never do that!!!! He said he wanted to meet me at Rock Saturday. And I dont even know him! Anyway I hate Rock. All they do is jump around and scream and use filthy words. So I would never go for someone who was a rock fan. My brother is in a band. But if my mother ever found out he would be soooo dead! hee hee…
Anyway I was really upset today – I almost cried. My reputation went for a six! All the children thought that he was my boyfriend or something! When they choose prefects this is the kind of thing that can go against you! Not that I want to be a prefect but this is just an example!
Come on Guys! Be cool! If you really like the girl then you wouldn’t do that to her! We would never go for guys who did such uncool tasteless things anyway!
Dontcha all agree?

She’s 14!!!She has plenty of time to wait! Memphis – You sound suspiciously like one of those guys who printed out multiple letters and gave them to girls through van windows yourself! Theres an element of sourness there that is a tad disturbing. And Prasad – if she HAD accepted the leter you would probably have been one of the first to call her a little slut.
It seems to me that WFC has become the target of a concerted campaign to discourage her from blogging. Or atleast blogging on Kottu – why dont all of you just get off your damn high horses and get over your superiority complexes and let this kid express herself? YOU may feel that her posts are trivial and superficial – but from what moral authority are you coming from? Minah? Your “superior” comment is to be quite frank – just very sad. What levels of perfection have you descended from exactly???

Have to agree with Yesh…also the loudest complainers seem to be folks who don’t blog themselves…what I suggest is switching on comment moderation and keeping non-contstructive comments out…why bother too much with idiots?

IF this is really a 14 year old girl (because I get the feeling that this could be an adult/semi adult having ‘fun’ given that the posts are a bit too over the top) then like Yesh and N said she should be given a break. What do you expect her to do? She’s 14 and she will think and speak like a 14 year old. If she sticks around for long enough we will see her transition from 14 to 15 to 16 and so on.
I liked your post. Brought back memories of middle school and notes being passed around at tution and all that. Hehe. But I thought kids these days just swap cell numbers. Oh well.

Dear WFC, thank you for a highly amusing and, vaguely nostalgic, post. I would like to extend my suppot to your vocal supporters and would therefore, berate those who think that accepting an annonymous letter sent through a window, as highly acceptable…. have those people not realized that courting just does not happen that way….
and furthermore, it does suprise me that in this day and age, letters are still favoured, considering that this is the SMS generation!
anyways kiddo, dont worry to much, it might be a bit of a turnoff, however, it is still a innocent bit of childish fun, dont get so affected…

Dear is a bell, my apologies for sounding like a grandpa… i fear my own experiences have aged me considerably.
However, i agree with you and the rest of WFC’s defenders that they should lay of a bit. Afterall, these are childish workings and as adults, we should are worst, sympathise, or best adivise. Castigating the writer for this speaks badly of those who wish to castigate in the first place.
This is hint for people like ‘confab and calvin’ to please try to empathies. Or get a life. whci ever is the easiest.

Well first n foremost I wuld like to congratulate u (WFC) for having not accepted the letter from that boy.. Shows me that u have respect for urself.. my dear donna I must disagree with u.. I don’t think she’s being stuck up at all.. and how do u propose she express her disapproval at the Peterit huh??
I totally agree with Yesh.. let the kid be.. she’s only 14, and frankly I like her blog… it’s rather interesting.. and Sach is right,WFC ur blog does brin back many memories (not just this post I myt add)… Oh and for all of u who think she’s not a 14 year old, i think it’s safe to assume that all of u (especially the girls) have forgotten what it was like to be a 14 year old..
